User-Created Database Supplements These files are supplements to the built-in Navgps .NG2 database files. They usually contain small airports and navaids that are not included in the built-in databases. These files need to be saved in the install folder - that's the folder where navgps.exe is. In PocketPC version, the default folders for the Basic and Pro are '\Program Files\Navgps Basic' and '\Program Files\Navgps Pro' respectively. Click here on how to create your own database files. You can load any number of NDB files and combination. But you have to make sure there are no duplicate entries - within the ndb files and also with the main .NG2 database files. Navgps Pro will remove duplicates automatically - the one in .NG2 file will be used. Also, try to keep the number of files and entries to a minimum. Large files will slow the software down quite a bit. How to Update Database Files Note: Be advised, most of these files are user-submitted and there's no express or implied guarantee that the contents are accurate.
